InnoHealth project meeting
The InnoHealth team gathered at the Municipal Clinic Hospital of Cluj-Napoca in 2019 to inaugurate the project which was financed by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT-Health), through InnoStars. A team of engineers (within CESTER) and medical experts (neurologists, kinetotherapists) worked together to develop and test (clinically) a lower limb rehabilitation robotic system.
IMPROVE project inauguration
The IMPROVE project was inaugurated through a workshop held at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in the spring of 2018. The project is financed by the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI). IMPROVE exploited the complementary competences from multiple domains aiming to develop innovative solutions with enhanced performances integrating concepts and characteristics from advanced robotics, image processing techniques and biomaterials in order to develop new solutions for the diagnosis and treatment of non-resectable hepatic tumors in order to improve the quality of life and enhance the life expectancy of patients with malignant hepatic tumors.
