The CESTER team participated at the EIT-Health Virtual Matchmaking event, On-line, 17-20 November 2020 (Participants: Bogdan Gherman, Doina Pisla, Paul Tucan, Calin Vaida)


The members of the UCv team participated in PRONVENT 2020 17-20 November 2020 https://proinvent.utcluj.ro/ (Participants: Daniela Tarnita, Danut Nicolae Tarnita, Ionut Geonea). The UCV team that participated in PROINVENT won the Trophy of the Romanian Academy of Technical Sciences.


The members of the UTCN team participated at the 18th edition of PROINVENT(18-20 November 2021), organized by the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, where they recieved a Diploma of Excelence and the Gold Medal for their invention " Portable device for upper limb rehabilitation"


On the 15th of Ocotber 2021, members of the UTCN team participated at the Traian Vuia Salon for Inventions and Inovation, where they recieved a gold medal for their invention " Portable device for upper limb rehabilitation"


The members of the UCV team participated at the 18th edition of PROINVENT(18-20 November 2021), where they obtained the Romanian Academia Technical Sciences Trophy


Between May 19-21, 2021, Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina Pislă participated in the 4th International Conference of the Doctoral School, organized at the Technical University "Gheorghe Asachi" in Iasi. During the conference, Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina Pisla gave a plenary paper entitled "New Trends in Medical Robotics".


Between June 7-9, 2021, Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina Pislă was invited to the MESROB2021 International Conference, held online, and organized by the University of Basel together with ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Prof. Doina Pislă presented a plenary paper entitled “Spirit of MESROB”


Between June 7-9, 2021 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Gherman Bogdan, participated in the MESROB2021 International Conference, held online, and organized by the University of Basel together with ETH Zurich, Switzerland. During the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gherman Bogdan presented a paper entitled: "Novel design of the ParReEx-elbow parallel robot for the rehabilitation of brachial monoparesis".


Between July 19-30, 2021, Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina Pislă participated in the International Summer School (Bright), organized by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. During the Summer School, Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina Pislă gave a lecture entitled "Innovative Robots for Medical Applications: New Trends and Challenges".


On October 20-23, Dr. Alexandru Bănică participated in the "25th International Conference on System Theory and Computing" held in a hybrid way (online and with physical presence) and organized in Iasi, Romania. Drd. Ing. Alexandru Banica presented the paper entitled "Inverse dynamic modeling of a parallel wrist Towards an assistive rehabilitation robot control modality"


From 12 to 16 October 2021, UMF staff members participated in the Days of Medical Emergency Hospital "Prof. Dr. N. Oblu "from Iași where they gave the presentation entitled: Modern robotic methods in the rehabilitation of upper limb paresis


Between June 7-9, 2021, Prof. Daniela Tarniță, PhD, participated in the MESROB2021 International Conference, held online, and organized by the University of Basel together with ETH Zurich, Switzerland. During the conference, Prof. Dr. Eng. Daniela Tarniță gave a paper entitled: "Nonlinear Dynamic Analysis of Human Sit-to-Stand Movement with Application to the Robotic Structures".


Between June 7-9, 2021, Ionuț Daniel Geonea, PhD, Eng., Participated in the MESROB2021 International Conference, held online, and organized by the University of Basel together with ETH Zurich, Switzerland. During the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Ionuț Daniel Geonea gave a paper entitled: "Design and motion simulation of a new exoskeleton leg mechanism".


During May 19-21, 2022, Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina Pîslă and Drd. Eng. Alin Burz participated in the IEEE International Conference on Automation, Quality and Testing, Robotics-AQTR. Held in Cluj-Napoca. During the conference, drd. Eng. Alin Burz presented a paper entitled "HRI Based Command System of a Modular Parallel Robot for Brachial Monoparesis".

During June 8-10, 2022 Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina Pislă, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Gherman Bogdan and Drd. Eng. Alexandru Bănică participated in the "International Conference on Robotics in Alpe-Adria Danube Region-RAAD 2022" held in Klagenfurt, Austria where Dr. Mr. Alexandru Bănică supported the paper entitled: Inverse Dynamic Modeling of a Parallel Elbow Rehabilitation Robot for Spasticity Treatment

On October 28, 2022, Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina Pîslă and Drd. Eng. Alin Burz participated in the conference CARE 2022- 2nd International Conference on Advanced Research in Engineering organized by the partners from the University of Craiova, where drd. Eng. Alin Burz supported the work entitled PATIENT ORIENTED CONTROL SYSTEM OF A MODULAR PARALLEL ROBOT FOR ELBOW REHABILITATION.

During November 14-17, 2022, the partners from UMF will participate in the National Congress of Neurology held in Bucharest where they will present the results obtained from tests with the NeuroAssist robotic system in the form of a poster with the title: Brachial monoparesis rehabilitation through robot- assisted therapy - preliminary data.

On October 28, 2022, Prof. Dr. Eng. Daniela Tarniță participated in the conference CARE 2022- 2nd International Conference on Advanced Research in Engineering organized by the partners from the University of Craiova, where Prof. Dr. Eng. Daniela Tarniță supported the paper entitled EXPERIMENTAL KINEMATICS OF HUMAN AND ARTIFICIAL FINGER
