On June 27, 2022, the first meeting of the consortium within the ENHANCE project was held, a meeting attended by members of the project from the two research institutes (Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and "Iuliu Hațieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy ” from Cluj-Napoca), during the project's kick-off meeting, details were discussed regarding the organization of activities and how to fulfill the indicators. br
On October 19, 2022, Prof. Doina Pîslă participated in the 14th edition of the Introductory Course in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology, which was held in hybrid format between October 11-28, 2022 in Bucharest at the Academy House. Among the guests were Acad. Mircea Dumitru, Acad. Ioan Dumitrache, Acad. Răzvan Theodorescu and Acad. Dorel Banabic. Prof. Doina Pîslă gave a plenary presentation entitled "Robotic Surgery" in which the results in robotic surgery obtained by the CESTER research center were presented.

During July 5-8 the UTCN, UMF and IRGH members participated in the "30th Annual Congress of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery" held in Krakow, Poland where the work entitled "ProHep-LCT Robotic system for the intraoperative targeted treatment of non-resectable HCC tumors" with authors Doina Pisla, Nadim Al Hajjar, Nicolae Plitea, Florin Graur, Calin Vaida, Corina Radu, Iosif Birlescu, Emil Mois, Bogdan Gherman and Tucan Paul. br
Between 5-8 July UTCN, UMF and IRGH members participated in the "30th Annual Congress of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery" held in Krakow, Poland where the work entitled "ProHep-LCT Robotic system for the intraoperative targeted treatment of non-resectable HCC tumors" with authors Doina Pisla, Nadim Al Hajjar, Nicolae Plitea, Florin Graur, Calin Vaida, Corina Radu, Iosif Birlescu, Emil Mois, Bogdan Gherman and Tucan Paul. br
On October 1, Dr. Andra Ciocan, Dr. Calin Popa and Prof. Nadim Al Hajjar participated in the IASGO 33rd World Congress held in Istanbul, Turkey where they gave a presentation entitled "Hard to treat-from benign to extensive biliary injury "

During November 17-18, 2022, Prof. Doina Pîslă participated in the 13th International Symposium on Mechanisms and Machines (SYROM) and the 25th edition of the International Robotics Conference (ROBOTICS) held at Iasi, where he held a plenary presentation entitled Recent Advances in Medical Robotics.

During November 17-18, 2022 Prof. Doina Pîslă, Prof. Vaida Călin, Prof. Gherman Bogdan and Drd. Alexandru Pușca participated in the 13th International Symposium on Mechanisms and Machines (SYROM) and the 25th edition of the International Robotics Conference (ROBOTICS) held in Iasi, where Prof. Gherman Bogdan presented the paper entitled "Development of a force feedback control for robotic assisted liver cancer treatment" with authors B. GHERMAN, D. HORVATH, E. MOIS, C. VAIDA, F. GRAUR, A. BURZ, C. POPA, P. TUCAN, N. AL HAJJAR, A. PUSCA and D. PISLA. The work is accepted for publication in Springer Publishing and will be published in 2023.

During the workshop "8th International Workshop on New Trends in Medical and Service Robots" (MESROB 2023), held in Craiova, Romania, between June 7-10, 2023, Ms. Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina PISLA gave a plenary presentation entitled: "Recent Advances in Robotic Surgery for Cancer Treatment".

During the conference "32nd International Conference on Robotics in Alpe-Adria-Danube Region", held in Bled, Slovenia, between June 14-16, 2023, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina PISLA gave a presentation in plenary with the title: "Advances in Medical Robotics".

During October 4-6, 2023, Prof. Doina PISLA and Prof. Bogdan GHERMAN participated in the conference "Days of the Technical Academy in Romania", Z-ASTR 2023, where the paper "On the Accuracy Assessment of a Parallel Robot" was presented for the minimally invasive cancer treatment", with authors Doina PISLA, Bogdan GHERMAN, Paul TUCAN, Adrian PISLA, Andrei CAILEAN, Calin VAIDA. br
During the "15th International Forum of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering" conference, held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, on November 21-22, 2023, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina PISLA gave a presentation entitled : "Advances in surgical robotics".

During November 6-10, 2023, the collective of authors formed by Prof. Doina PISLA, Prof. Adrian PISLA, Prof. Bogdan GHERMAN and S.L. Paul TUCAN participated in the IFToMM congress "The 16th IFToMM World Congress" organized in Tokyo, Japan, where they presented the paper "On the design optimization of a parallel robotic system for liver cancer treatment", with Bogdan GHERMAN, Andra CIOCAN, Andrei CAPRARIU, Paul TUCAN, Corina RADU, Calin VAIDA, Adrian PISLA, Alin HORSIA, Nadim AL HAJJAR, Doina PISLA.


Between November 5-10, 2023, the IFToMM (International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science) World Congress was held in Tokyo, Japan. The Congress, now in its 16th edition, brought together more than 500 delegates from around the world in the field of Mechanism and Machine Science, at the congressProfessor Doina Pîsla from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca received the award: "IFToMM Dedicated Service Award", the most prestigious award offered to this highly scientific and professional organization, at the Awards Gala on November 8, 2023.

During March 15-16, 2024, Prof. Doina PISLA, Prof. Bogdan GHERMAN, Prof. Adrian PISLA and Prof. Paul TUCAN participated in the conference "The 3rd International Scientific Conference Emerging And Disruptive Technologies - Impact On Global Security", where Mrs. Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina PISLA presented a paper in plenary, entitled "Innovation in medical robotics".

Within the International Conference Innovation and Engineering, a conference that took place in Azores, Portugal during June 25-28, 2024, Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina Pîslă held the plenary paper "Latest Trends in Medical Robotics for Rehabilitation".

At the "33rd International Conference on Robotics in Alpe-Adria-Danube Region", held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, between June 5-7, 2024, Eng. Drd. Alexandru Pușca supported a plenary presentation with the title: "Accuracy and repeatability of a parallel robot for personalized minimally invasive surgery".
